Stephanie Leong set up Regizmark IP Consultants in 2009 after acquiring many valuable years of industry knowledge and practical experience as an IP lawyer and Senior In-House Legal
Counsel in one of the top ranking IP law firms in the country and the largest IP Practice Group in the country respectively. Her experience in corporate law in her early years of legal practice has also enriched her overall legal experience. Stephanie
has worked with many clients ranging from large corporations and
multinationals to small and medium sized businesses and creative individuals
in a
wide variety of commerce and specialist fields. She also advised on a broad
range of IP
matters including trade mark, design and patent protection,
maintenance,
management and enforcement. Stephanie has, inter alia,
successfully argued trade mark oppositions in favour of clients, concluded
complicated trade mark settlement negotiations satisfactorily and successfully defended her clients against trade mark infringement.
Stephanie graduated from University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom with an Honours LLB degree in 1998
and subsequently earned her Certificate in Legal Practice. She was
called to the Malaysian Bar in 2000 and in the same year she joined as a member of the Malaysian
Intellectual Property Association. Stephanie is a Registered Patent Agent, Registered Trade Mark
Agent and a Registered Industrial Design Agent.
